Authorities believe a vehicle recovered in Mt Vernon Illinois is that of the suspect in the fatal shooting of an Olney man this past weekend. 18 year old Rick Meador remains at large. He is being sought in connection with the incident Sunday in Olney in which 19 year old Kyle Johnson died after being shot several times. An arrest warrant for First Degree Murder has now been issued by the Richland County State’s Attorney office for Meador. Illinois State Police remind the public that Meador is considered as armed and dangerous and should not be confronted in person. If anyone does have information as to his whereabouts, they should contact law enforcement immediately.
