Lawrence County Coroner Shannon Steffey issued a release Wednesday morning announcing that a positive identification has been made of the victim in that fatal plane crash Saturday in rural northeastern Lawrence County. As suspected, the body is that of Knox County Superior Court 2 Judge Ryan Johanningsmeier. The plane crashed in a wooded area north of the Mid American Air center enroute from Sullivan County Indiana. There was no word on the results of a planned autopsy in the release. Investigation into the cause of the crash is still continuing. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Frederick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes.
