Knox County has taken a step forward in allowing the creation of solar powered development in the future. County Commissioners Tuesday approved an ordinance governing such facilities. The move was made after much study and input. There are 2 such ventures planned-the company Tenaska is looking to build an over $110 million solar farm on Indiana State Road 61 near the White River in southern Knox County and another company named Origis is looking at a potential farm site near Wheatland.
