The Good Samaritan Hospital Board has approved $875,000 for the purchase of the former First Street Surgery Center in Vincennes. No exact use for the building has been determined but it is being looked at as a possible COVID-19 test center. GSH has been working with Vincennes University and the Knox County Health Department on such a testing location.
