Detroit second baseman Jonathan Schoop cracked a grand slam home run during a 5 run bottom of the 6th inning Tuesday night to lead the Tigers to a 7-1 win over the Chicago Cubs at Comerica Park. The Tigers scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st against Cub starter and loser Tyler Chatwood and never looked back in picking up the win. Willson Contreras homered in the 9th to avert a shutout for the Cubs.
