Lawrenceville Police late Tuesday morning investigated a single vehicle accident at Lawrenceville Package Liquors at 1210 Collins Avenue. Reports indicate that just before 11 a.m., a 2019 Savanah GMC U-Haul being driven by Lequia Patterson of Lawrenceville was passing through the drive-thru at the location when the passenger side corner of the cargo box hit the business awning causing significant damage to it. The U-Haul suffered minor damage. Patterson was not hurt. Authorities say that no tickets were issued.
