The Lawrence County United Fund is now taking applications from local non-profit organizations who want help with their funding for the 2021 fiscal year. Application forms are now available at the drive-through of the First Financial Bank at 1601 State Street in Lawrenceville during regular business hours. The forms must be filled out completely. Incomplete applications may not be given consideration. After completion, they must be returned to the bank by the date of Monday, September 28th. After that date, all applications received will be turned over to the United Fund Budget Committee for study and evaluation before being voted upon for funding with a formal announcement of the recipients at a later date.  The United Fund gets its money through donations via payroll deductions and mail to P.O. Box 23 Lawrenceville Illinois 62439 with all funds remaining in Lawrence County for local use.
