Javier Baez had three hits including two home runs and David Bote also had three hits and drove in four runs to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 9-3 win Monday night over the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit. Jason Heyward also had 2 hits as the Cubs picked up their second win in a row to improve to 18-10 while Detroit falls to 11-16. Alec Mills (3-2) picked up the win for the Cubs. The two teams play again Tuesday with Tyler Chatwood (2-1) going for the Cubs against Spencer Turnbull (2-2) for the Tigers.
