The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cancellation of two more planned area events. Vincennes Lincoln High School has announced the cancellation of homecoming 2020 fall activities. School officials say that the restrictions on spectators and activities at IHSAA sporting events along with state health recommendations to avoid large gatherings were among the factors leading to the decision. Olney Central College has announced that its Music Department Community Choir and annual Christmas Concert this fall have been cancelled due to state and federal regulations and the ongoing spread of the disease in the region.
