The Illinois Eastern Community College Board of Trustees approved a tentative budget Tuesday and scheduled a public hearing on it for Tuesday September 15th at Wabash Valley College in Mt Carmel. The spending plan is expected to be adopted following the hearing. The schedule of dates for the trustee election to be held April 6 2021 was approved. Andrew Fischer, Jan Ridgely and Barbara Shimerare are all up for reelection to 6 year terms. A hearing will be conducted September 15th at 7 p.m. at WVC to receive public comment on a proposal to sell bonds totalling $2.5 million for the purpose of paying claims against the district.
