The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation has been called in to investigate the death of a Clay County Illinois man. The Clay County Sheriffs Department reports that the body of a male subject was found deceased on a rural farm road near Mason. The body was later identified as that of 29 year old Austin Woods of Edgewood. An autopsy was performed to determine the cause of death. Authorities say that the investigation remains open and on-going with no other information being released.
