BREWERS HAND CUBS THIRD LOSS IN ROW

Ryan Braun drove in the winning run with a single in the top of the 7th inning to break a 5-5 tie and give the Milwaukee Brewers a 6-5 win Sunday over the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Stephen Souza Jr and Jason Kipnis each drove in two runs for the Cubs who have now lost three in a row. The loss drops the Cubs to 13-6 which still leads the NL Central. The Cubs host the St Louis Cardinals Monday for a doubleheader. They will play two Monday, a single game Tuesday and another doubleheader Wednesday to make up games missed by the Cardinal COVID-19 outbreak. The Cardinals are 4-4 after taking two of three games against the White Sox.
