The Parkview Baseball Braves opened their season Saturday and split a doubleheader at Unit 20 Ballpark with Flora. The Braves pushed across the run in the bottom of the 10th inning to win game one 10-9 and lost the second game 6-2 in 3 innings. Eli Vennard had three hits and drove in two runs including the game winner in the opener. The win was the first for new Braves head coach Craig Buntin. Next up for the Braves is a road trip Tuesday to Casey.
