Indycar engines will roar to life starting Wednesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as practice begins for the 104th running of the 500 on Sunday August 23rd. Series points leader Scott Dixon who has won three of six races so far this season is among the favorites along with defending champion Simon Paganaud. Qualifications for the race are Saturday and Sunday. IMS earlier announced that the race will be run for the first time in it’s history without fans.
