Reports indicate that Teutopolis has been voted into the Apollo Conference effective immediately. The league schools recently met and approved the move. The school will compete in all sports with the exception of football. Teutopolis had been an independent in high school sports over the years, but travel restrictions on schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic led to the decision to become affilated with a conference. In addition to Teutopolis, other schools in the league include Charleston, Effingham, Lincoln, Mahomet-Seymour, Mattoon, Mt Zion and Taylorville.
