Wabash Valley College in Mt Carmel has announced the signing of Colton Bridwell of Sumner for the upcoming 2020-21 Bass Fishing season. Bridwell will be coming to the school on an academic scholarship and recently signed a letter of intent with the bass fishing team. Bridwell is the son of Lee and Cindy Bridwell of Sumner and graduated from Red Hill High School this spring. While in high school Bridwell fished two years with the Lawrenceville Lunkers team with his best finish being 15th at the Wabash Valley Invitational in June. Bridwell plans to study Biology and Fisheries Management in college in addition to fishing.
