The Vincennes University Board of Trustees will meet in special session Thursday. The meeting will be via tele-conference. University officials inform WAKO News that the board will begin at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time with an Executive Session discussion on school safety and security measures. They will then enter into Open Session at 10:05 a.m. Eastern Time for discussion and possible approval of the recommended bids for the general, mechanical, electrical, site and concrete construction work for Phase II of the French Quarter Student Housing Project. Those recommendations were made by the board’s Finance and Revenue Committee earlier this week.
