Vincennes Police report that a Vincennes man was taken into custody early Wednesday after a vehicle breakin at the Jay C Food Store. Authorities were summoned to the scene and discovered 37 year old Nathaniel Chattin at the location. Upon spotting police, he attempted to flee but was later apprehended. Chattin has been preliminarily charged with Unauthorized Entry into a Vehicle and Resisting Law Enforcement. He was being held in the Knox County Jail on $4000 bond.
