Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzger has launched a new mask awareness campaign to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 across the state. It is called “It only works if you wear it” and is a $5 million dollar effort to remind people and to educate people about the the wearing of masks or face coverings to mitigate the infections caused by the virus. The governor says it is up to local communities how they want to enforce the mandate.
