Former Cub Nicholas Castellanos  blasted a grand slam homer to help the Cincinnati Reds to a 12-7 win over his former team Wednesday night in game three of their four game set at the Great American Ballpark. The Reds took a 2-0 lead off Cub starter and loser Kyle Hendricks in the fourth on a walk and two run homer by Mike Moustakas. Hendricks was then knocked out in the fifth after allowing four men to reach base and surrendering a two run hit. Reliever Rex Brothers then came on to give up the Castellanos grand slam. The Cubs did score 7 runs on 7 hits with David Bote smacking a two run homer, Nico Hoerner had 2 hits and 2 RBI and Kris Bryant drove in 2 but it was not enough. The series concludes Thursday with Yu Darvish (0-1) pitching for the Cubs and Luis Castillo (0-0) going for the Reds. Catch the game on Lite 103 WAKO with first pitch at 5:10 p.m. Central Time.
