The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,231 new confirmed cases of coronavirus Monday across the state. There were also 18 additional deaths. There was another confirmed case in Lawrence County Monday. No details were immediately available on the individual from the Lawrence County Health Department. The case is the 40th locally according to LCHD statistics. Neighboring Richland County reported 2 new cases Monday bringing it’s total to 13 and Wayne County confirmed another case Monday-31 now in that county. Overall since the pandemic began, there have been 172,655 cases of the disease with 7,416 deaths.
