CUBS BEAT BREWERS; IN CINCINNATI MONDAY

Ian Happ, Anthony Rizzo, and Willson Conteras all homered to back the solid pitching of Tyler Chatwood as the Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers 9-1 Sunday at Wrigley Field. The win enabled the squad to take two of three in the season opening series between the two NL Central rivals. The Cubs scored 9 times on 11 hits and held the Brewers to 1 run on only 3 hits total. The Cubs are right back in action Monday night with the first of a four game series in Cincinnati against the Reds at Great American Ballpark.
