The Vincennes City Redevelopment Commission has approved an option to reconstruct the intersection of Felt King Road and Sievers Road in Phase II of the Main Street Project. According to City Engineer John Sprague the roads are angled awkwardly at the two way stop intersection with seeing oncoming traffic difficult and the new plan will fix that and improve safety at the location. The project will be rescoped with the Indiana Department of Transportation and changes made to the engineering contract. Sprague did say that the Main Street Project is still on track to be completed by 2022.
