The scheduled court hearing in the Clay County Illinois lawsuit filed by 109th District Republican State Representative Darren Bailey against Governor J.B. Pritzger Friday was vacated. According to court documents, the cancellation was the result of a teleconference call involving the attorneys for both sides and presiding Judge Michael McHaney. The judge did set a deadline for additional filings in the cases for this Wednesday, July 22nd. The Illinois Attorney General’s Office is seeking the dismissal of one of the counts brought in the Bailey suit.
