The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the entire WAKO listening area. Over the next several days hot temperatures and high humidity will lead to heat index values of 105 to 110 degrees especially during the afternoon hours. These types of conditions could lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke. If you are outside for a lengthy period of time-drink plenty of fluids especially water to hydrate, stay out of the direct sun, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing, do not overexert and take frequent breaks in a cool or air conditioned environment.
