The Illinois Department of Public Health reports there were 707 new confirmed cases of coronavirus across the state Tuesday with 25 more confirmed deaths. There have now been 155,506 cases of the disease and 7,218 deaths since the pandemic began. The Lawrence County Health Department was notified Monday of a county resident who tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is a female in her 20s now in home isolation with contact tracing being done. The case is the 13 confirmed with 6 of those active and 7 have recovered with no deaths in Lawrence County.
