The Illinois Department of Public Health announced that there were 894 new confirmed cases of coronavirus across the state Thursday with 41 additional confirmed deaths. Those totals now bring to 139,434 the number of cases statewide since the pandemic began with 6,810 total deaths. Lawrence County remains at 7 confirmed positive cases of the disease. 1 case remains active in in-home isolation, the 6 others have recovered and there have been no deaths. In neighboring counties Richland remains at 4 cases while Crawford has 18 and Wabash County is now at 22 cases.
