A Crawford County man was seriously injured Tuesday in a two vehicle accident in Richland County. Illinois State Police report that around 1:20 p.m. a 2014 Toyota being driven by 27 year old Tyler Tennyson of Robinson was traveling on U.S. 50 and ran into the rear of a right turning 2015 semi tractor trailer whose driver was 63 year old Tony Biagi of Centralia. Biagi was turning onto a rural county road at the time. He was not hurt. Tennyson was lifeflighted to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities investigating the crash say that Tennyson was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Driving While License Suspended.
