The Rides Mass Transit District which does include Lawrence County has announced it will be resuming contactless fare collections beginning on Wednesday July 1st. Passengers will be able to place their money inside fare boxes without coming into contact with drivers. Passengers will still be able to pay for passes via phone, by visiting a local RMTD Operation Center or in person on the bus while adhering to social distancing guidelines. RIDES also announced that passengers with valid passes which would have expired in April or May will have their passes remain valid through Saturday July 31st.
