The Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association All-Star Game is still going to be held this year but has been postponed and relocated. The 16th annual affair was scheduled for Saturday, June 27th at Memorial Stadium on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute. But now organizers say the contest has been pushed back until Saturday July 11th at 7 p.m. Eastern Time at the Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club Park. Approximately 100 of the top local senior high school football players from both Illinois and Indiana have been invited to play for the Black and Gold teams. Five Lawrence County players have been invited to play–Blayne Winningham, Christian Beamon and Daymon Parkman from the Lawrenceville Indians for the Black Division and Gavin Volkman and Gannon Gaither of the Red Hill Salukis for the Gold Division.
