The Lawrence County Board met in regular session Wednesday and recieved information from Chairman Jim Brewer that the county is still under an emergency health declaration. That means that the courthouse is still on restricted access with the single entrance to the building under the north stairs. Temperature checks and health screening will still be done by security personnel. Brewer indicated that reopening options have been discussed but it will most likely be until mid-July before complete public access is restored. Also during the session, the board approved the appointments of Lloyd Schraeder and Tom Padgett to three year terms on the Denison Fire Protection District.
