Indiana state health officials say 24 more residents have died from the coronavirus Wednesday. That moves the death toll statewide since the pandemic began to 2,289. The Indiana State Department of Health also reported 264 new cases of the disease Wednesday bringing the Hoosier total since the pandemic began to 41,013. The Knox County Health Department reports a spike in cases over the last 2 days with 5 people testing positive bringing the county total to 40 with 8 in recovery.
