The Lawrence Public Library Board met Tuesday evening at the library in downtown Lawrenceville. Executive Director and Head Librarian Diane Brumley reported on the reopening of the library facility on June 1st. It had been closed for two months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Brumley indicated that curbside service continues for book checkouts and returns and the building is open to patrons with health safety precautions being followed such as the wearing of masks, hand sanitization, and social distancing. Brumley also reported that the library was the recent recipient of a $5000 donation from Casey State Bank and author Lee Martin has a Zoom presentation coming up on June 25th on his latest book.
