The Illinois High School Association Board of Directors met for their regularly scheduled meeting via videoconference Monday and issued a joint resolution supporting the “Black Lives Matter” movement and indicating the organization will educate its membership and students on how to support those impacted by racism and injustice. They then approved a three year contract with the city of Normal to continue to host the Illinois Girls State Basketball Finals and also a three year contract with Champaign-Urbana to host the Boys State Basketball Finals at the State Farm Center. The tournament returns to Champaign-Urbana for the first time since 1995.
