Illinois State Police in District 12 out of Effingham are reminding Lawrence County motorists and others across the area to be extra alert while traveling on roadways as the 2020 planting season continues. All drivers should be on the watch for slow-moving farm equipment with farmers moving from field to field. Also all farmers are reminded to make sure that all slow-moving vehicle emblems and flashing lights on their tractors and other farm equipment are clean, clearly visible and in working order.
