The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for all of the WAKO listening area until 8 p.m. Central Time Tuesday. Winds will be from the southeast at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 mph expected. Those wind speeds could blow around unsecured objects, blow down tree limbs and cause high profile vehicles to experience difficult travel conditions. The winds will also usher in warm air and moisture from the remanents of tropical depression Christobal into the area. Scattered showers and storms are expected, some of which could become severe with heavy rain and the possibility of brief, isolated tornadic activity.
