Olney Central College has been named as the Number 1 online community college in the state of Illinois by Optimals Guide to Online Schools. The state’s community colleges were ranked using a number of criteria such as student retention rate, graduation rates among others. The data was then collected by the National Center for Educational Statistics. Optimal assists students in finding the best options for their educational needs. All four I.E.E.C schools-OCC, Lincoln Trail, Wabash Valley and Frontier-made the 2020 Best Online Community College list.
