education-2

The Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health Thursday released Part Two of the advisory recommendations for transitioning to in-person instruction under Phase Three of the Restore Illinois Plan. They focus on activities allowed under the phase and provides information on how schools can comply with the health and safety requirements of Phase Three. Phase Three does allow for the resumption of limited face-to-face instruction, but schools cannot yet return to pre-pandemic operations. Extensive social distancing, enhanced sanitation measures and other accommodations will be necessary to ensure the safety from disease for students, staff and administrators. The Phase Three guidelines are available through either the ISBE or IDPH websites.
