Vincennes city firefighters were mobilized Thursday morning after a report of smoke at a local motel. Firemen were dispatched around 6:15 a.m. Eastern Time to the Quality Inn at 6th Street and Old Wheatland Road. Smoke was coming from an electrical power unit at the location. There were no reported injuries. A firm damage estimate was not immediately available.
