All Lawrence and Knox County government offices will be closed Monday for the Memorial Day holiday. Also Lawrenceville, Vincennes, Bridgeport, Sumner, and St Francisville city offices will be closed on that day. The Lawrenceville VFW will be hosting the annual Memorial Day program on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Lawrenceville City cemetery. Social distancing and other protocols will be observed. There will be no open house at the VFW Post after the ceremony. Guest speaker is scheduled to be former U.S. Marine Major and Lawrence County native Brandon Blann.
