The Lawrence Unit 20 Board of Education met in regular session Wednesday and were given end of the year updates from building principals and Superintendent Doug Daugherty. Daughtery told the board that the final two months of the school term were difficult for administration, staff, teachers, and students but they perservered and make it through remote learning and the difficulties it presented. The board did approve the 2020-21 school calender and the reduction of graduation credits for the Class of 2020. Also approved was an amended budget for 2019-20. It will be on file for public display for 30 days before a hearing is held at the next meeting scheduled for June 24th.
