The Illinois Department of Public Health announced Tuesday that there were 1,545 new cases of the coronavirus disease across the state with 146 more deaths. With those totals that brings the overall number of COVID-19 cases in Illinois since the pandemic began to 98,030 with 4,379 deaths in 100 counties. Lawrence County remains at 4 positive cases with 3 of those recovered and no deaths. Wabash County’s case total has been reduced to 1 by the IDPH, Richland County remains at 3 and Crawford County at 11.
