Hospitals throughout Illinois including Lawrence County Memorial have begun recieving $75 million in new stability payments to help fight COVID-19. The Department of Healthcare and Family Services says the funding will help those medical facilities continue to provide essential services to their communities in the coming weeks and months. The stability payments are being issued in installments until July 1st of this year. Hospitals began recieving the first installments in late April.
