Lawrenceville Police investigated a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 8th Street Thursday morning. About 7:30 a.m. a 2013 Volvo Truck Tractor owned by Myers Transportation of Washington Indiana and being driven by Jay Griffith of Lawrenceville collided with a Frontier Communications utility pole at the intersection. Griffith was not injured. His vehicle suffered some passenger side rear damage but was able to be driven from the scene. No other accident details were given in the report. There were no citations issued.
