The Indiana State Department of Public Health reported 605 more cases of coronavirus Tuesday bringing the state total to 17,182 while there were 63 additional deaths bringing the Hoosier total now to 964 since the first death was recorded seven weeks ago. Knox County remained stable with 20 confirmed cases. The state is ramping up testing for the disease. Governor Eric Holcomb announced Tuesday a deal with OptumServe Health Services to open 20 testing sites around the state in the next week. One of those sites will be the National Guard Armory in Vincennes. 30 more sites will open in the following two weeks. Holcomb says that will provide COVID-19 testing for 100,00 people with a 30 day period.
