From now through May 5th, first responders and healthcare workers can show their badges or ID to recieve a free thank you meal from the Lawrenceville McDonalds. Jamie Brink, general manager of the store took the thanks one step further by printing personal thank you notes on nearly 300 meal boxes to ensure that those frontline heroes battling COVID-19 feel appreciation for their efforts. Wally Nowakowski, owner/operator of the Lawrenceville franchise, had high praise for Brink’s idea and indicated that it will continue. He also owns and operates 7 more franchises in Olney, Robinson, Vincennes, Washington, Bicknell and Loogootee where in the first few days of the offer, they have given away over 1,670 free meals to personnel in those communities.
