V.U. BOARD FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETS

The Vincennes University Board of Trustees Finance and Revenue Committee met via teleconference in special session Thursday and approved unanimously bids totalling $5.2 million for work on the Shircliff Humanities Building and $2.5 million on the Summers Center Building. Wolfe Construction was selected for the general construction work, H.G. Heinz for the mechanical work and Weyer Electric for the electrical work on the projects. Meanwhile University President Chuck Johnson has announced the formation of three action teams to help the university begin to plan and prepare for different scenarios when the pandemic ends and operations resume. Reports from each team along with their findings and recommendations will be presented to the V.U. Executive Team within the next few weeks.
