The state of Illinois hit another daily high Wednesday with more than 2000 new cases of the coronavirus. In addition to the new infections, another 98 people died from the virus. More than 35,000 people across the state have now tested positive for the disease and 1,565 have died in 96 counties. Lawrence County now has 3 confirmed cases, Clay County has another case to bring its total to 2, Richland County remained at 2, Wabash County 1 and Crawford County 7.
