Ray Frazier

Ray Frazier, age 67 of Bridgeport, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April
20, 2020 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Tuscola,
Illinois on May 7, 1952 to George and Julia (Harrington) Frazier.

He married Sally Ann Schwartzlose December 31, 1973 in Parkersburg, IL, and
she survives.

Ray graduated from Sumner High School and furthered his education at
McKendree University where he received a Bachelor’s degree. He proudly
served his country by joining the United States Air Force and served during
Vietnam. He was also in the Air National Guard and the National Guard. Ray
had spent most of his career working at Champion Labs in West Salem.

Many people do not know that Ray held a Black belt in Karate. He enjoyed
fishing at Red Hill State Park, spending time with his family, and reading. He
was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Chicago Bears, Fighting Illini,
and the New York Mets.

Surviving relatives include: his wife- Sally Frazier of Bridgeport: his son- Erik
Frazier and his wife Mendy of Boonville, IN: three grandsons- Derik Frazier,
Hunter Jamerson, and Alec Jamerson: two sisters- George Watson and her
husband Jim of Petrolia and Pam Evans and her husband Doug of Evansville,
IN.

He was preceded in death by: his parents- George and Julia Frazier- his
daughter- Amy Frazier: and two brothers- John Frazier and Greg Frazier.

As per Ray’s wishes, there are no formal services planned at this time.
