Knox County is applying for grant money to help its small business community suffering through the COVID-19 pandemic. The county is seeking $250,000 in OCRA funding. Up to $5000 will be made available to businesses with 25 or fewer employees while up to $10,000 would be available to businesses with 25 or more employees. The money will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Should the county be successful in recieving the grant, it would be administered by the county commissioners and the Knox County Chamber of Commerce.
